Dear all,
I'm selling my Simon Marty guitar, 2002 model, with a spruce top. It has a beautiful large warm Australian sound, but still a bit of traditional twist to it, since it's one of Marty's "older" models.
I have just had it cleaned up, refretted, neck cleaned up at Yuris' shop Blue Guitar in San Diego, so it's in marvelous playable shape!
Starting selling price $9000, but willing to negotiate if needed.
For further info please contact me at mak.grgic@gmail.com. Regards, Mak

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=malV7GVzfnE embed code from YouTube or other video sharing service. Hello, As life will have it, I unfortunately have to part with my gorgeous 2010 Kolya Panhuyzen guitar due to financial reasons- only. I am the first owner and have been the only one since the guitar was built for me in the Summer of 2010. It is an absolutely beautiful guitar: cedar top with Brazilian back and sides (see photos), elevated fingerboard, 20th fret, etc. This guitar comes with Alessi tuning machines, and Hiscox case (brand new 2013). Guitar only shows minimal signs of wear from professional use, and has absolutely no cracks. Just a few tiny nail dings and scratches around the sound-hole, but not visible until very close inspection. The guitar has been played-in well, and has opened up beautifully in three years. The tone is rather warm and deep, with rich bass and exceptionally even, and well-sustaining trebles. The neck is shaped for comfort, and it feels great to touch. Te elevated fingerboard enhancement is twofold: while it's providing the easy access to the higher positions, it's also creating a string angle for better action and quicker tone response, as well as the longer sustain. Kolya Panhuyzen is one of the very few top luthiers building traditional fan-braced constructed guitars for several decades. An absolute marvelous guitar, a one that would inspire a poet in you! Asking $11,000 obo

Up for sale is a vintage 1966 Masaru Kohno classical guitar.
This guitar is in mint condition with very few nail marks. It has Hokaido
Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and side. The guitar has been well kept and
taken care of since it was made and it sounds very beautiful with clarity and
the vintage tone. This particular guitar has a special value because it was
made just one year before Masaru Kohno won the gold medal of the
Elizabeth's
Concourse International Guitar Building Competition in Belgium in 1967.
Nowadays it is very difficult to find a 1967 Masaru Kohno, almost impossible
since his guitars made in 1967 were either kept by Kohno's students or by the
guitar collectors. For the past 15 years, I haven't seen any 1967 Kohno guitar
for sale, either in the domestic or international market. So this is the good
opportunity to own one of the finest classical guitars in the world, no matter
you are a professional guitar player, or guitar collector or just classical
guitar fan. For detail about this guitar, please contact me at:
taoacu2000@yahoo.com
. Asking for $5000 or best offer including domestic shipping. Will accept paypal payemnt if 3% paypal fee added to the cost. Serious buyers in west Michigan area please welcomed to stop by and try this guitar before purchase. Thanks
for looking.

This is a 1964 Manuel Velazquez "E3
Estrella” classical guitar, serial #A 64 0038. This is NOT a
signed guitar, it is my understanding that it comes from his
shop in Puerto Rico, made while he was there on a government program,
built by him and a handful of workers under his watch between '61 and
'64, I believe.
It has a spruce top with nice
bear-claw, like many of Velazquez's guitars. The back and sides are
solid rosewood, I cannot tell what type, it's awfully light for
Brazilian if that's what it is; my guess is E. Indian.
The instrument is in solid condition,
but has been handled somewhat roughly. There are many finish
scratches and dings, many denting the wood, but nothing I would call
severe. It has clearly been played with a pick at some point, and
there is considerable marking around the sound hole. All of the
joints and structure seem sound. I cannot see that there have ever
been any cracks/repairs. There is a bit of fret wear. The original
tuners were removed and replaced with Gilbert individual machines. I
have the originals and will send them along. They seem to be in good
shape except that the barrels upon which the strings wrap are coming
apart. The action is perhaps a bit high, I measure the sixth string
as 5/32” at the 12th fret. The scale is 650mm.
This guitar sounds lovely. It is full
and balanced. Strong basses that are clear and don't interfere with
the trebles, which are very clear and have marvellous separation. It
is a rather light instrument, and I find that it sounds best with lighter
tension strings. The neck is quite thin but appears straight and
solid and is very comfortable. I mention that the action seems a tad high mainly because the
saddle is already quite low and there is not much downward
compensation available there. I have not noticed any change in the
geometry during the 10+ years I've had it.
I will include what I believe is
probably the original hard case. It is in very poor shape
cosmetically speaking, but is still solid.
I am ready to sell this for a fair
price, but confess I'm not sure what that is. I propose $3,000. Let
me know what you think!
