2016 Young Artists Competition
For Classical Guitar
The Tuesday Morning Music Club is a non-profit organization made up of classical instrumentalists and vocalists. Its purpose is to enhance the cultural life of its membership and the community. One of the endeavors of which we are most proud is our sponsorship of a bi-annual Young Artists Competition. This year our competition is open to classical guitarist ages 18- 28.
To apply send the following material:
1. A letter of application stating your name, age, address, e mail address and phone number.
2. Submit a recording (CD): One each from Baroque/Classic, Romantic/Spanish and 20th century.
Label with your name and the title of the work on top of the CD.
3. A short biography.

Deadline: March 14, 2016
All materials must be received or postmarked by March 14, 2016.
After the screening we will select 6 contestants who will be auditioned before the committee on April 26, 2016
Performing time: No more than ten minutes. Two contrasting selections of your choice.
1st Prize: $1,800 2nd Prize: $1000 3rd Prize: $500
