On Wednesday, March 5th, we are thrilled to present one of the greatest flamenco legends ever: 3-time Latin Grammy winner Tomatito.
Tickets go on sale this Thursday, January 30th.
Discovered by Paco de Lucía as a child, Tomatito rose to spectacular fame for his decades-long collaboration with Camarón de la Isla, regarded by many as the greatest flamenco singer of all time.
Fresh from a third Latin Grammy Best Flamenco Album win (November 2013), for his new album Soy Flamenco, flamenco superstar Tomatito performs with his sextet on Austin Classical Guitar's FlamencoAustin series on Wednesday, March 5th, at the Paramount Theatre.
Currently featured on the cover of Guitar Player Magazine (January 2014), this flamenco legend's previous Latin Grammy wins date from 2000 and 2010. Tomatito's music is a thrilling blend of traditional flamenco and jazz. He has produced six solo albums, worked with flamenco greats Paco de Lucía and Camarón de la Isla, and shared stage with stars like Elton John and Chick Corea.
