Description:
The American Suzuki Institute will be offering the introductory-level course in teaching guitar with the Suzuki Method with Teacher Trainer Joseph Pecoraro in Stevens Point, Wisconsin from August 2-10, 2012.

A detailed PDF piece about the course and instructions for enrolling and registering it is located at:  http://www.josephpecoraro.com/Pecoraro%20Suzuki%20Offerings.pdf

Working with the Suzuki method is one of the most exciting and potentially rewarding opportunities for aspiring or established professional guitarists.  This course is designed to provide teachers with all of the pedagogical, communication, and career development resources needed to begin successfully teaching young students with this method.  Already, the Suzuki approach is responsible for producing many of the most well-established and accomplished community classical guitar programs in the U.S.

You may already be familiar with the Suzuki approach but, if not, there is good information at the Suzuki Association of the Americas Website: http://suzukiassociation.org/   Interested teachers can also read more and view some videos at: www.youngguitarists.com

In addition to his many performing and teaching activities, Joseph Pecoraro has been teaching guitar pedagogy courses for the last 15 years and has spent hundreds of hours developing the materials for this course.
