The guitar world mourns the loss of one of its greatest master luthiers, Paulino Bernabe, who passed away in Madrid on May 10, 2007. Bernabe, born in 1932, was renowned for his impeccable workmanship and innovations in design and materials, to produce instruments of great power and clarity. His work will continue in the hands of his son, Paulino II, who has been building instruments with his father for over 20 years, and who stated that he will dedicate himself even further to making guitars so that he can bring to the world all that his father had taught him.
