Join us in sunny Los Angeles, California for the 2007 Guitar Foundation of America Convention and Competition. This year's festival is directed by Dr. Scott Morris and hosted by California State University, Dominguez Hills located in the South Bay area and minutes from some of the best beaches in Southern California. The dates of the event are Tuesday October 16 through Sunday October 21. We have an exceptional program of events planned and anticipate a very high attendance.
We are excited to welcome some new faces to the convention, wonderful artists who are not seen often in the US, some artists who you may not have heard of but whose music we are confident will move you, and artists who are seen frequently touring in and out of the the US. Artists include Carlo Marchione, Benjamin Verdery, Tilman Hoppstock, Roland Dyens, Eliot Fisk, William Kanengiser, Scott Tennant, The Amadeus Duo, Jorge Caballero, Evan Hirschelman, Klasinc & Loncar Duo, Wulfin Lieske, Michael Partington, Rucco-James Duo, Jack Sanders, Marc Teicholz and Thomas Viloteau, Winner of the 2006 GFA International Competition.
