GFA Education Lecture Series Proposal Form

We are currently accepting proposals for the 2009 annual convention. Please review, complete and submit this form. A photo and a prepared Word document are required.

Deadline: Applications will be accepted until August 15, 2008. Notification of acceptance will be October 1.

There are five slots reserved for lectures during the annual convention related to pre-college guitar teaching. The scope of the lectures may range from K-12 grades (public and private institutions) and the training of guitar teachers at universities. Topics may include, but are not limited to: history of the guitar for the high school classroom, guitar theory for the classroom, discipline management, repertoire, improvisation for the classical guitarist, methodologies, administrative strategies, ensemble, technique, and college prep.
