- Back and sides : Cocobolo (very similar
to Brazilian rosewood acoustically), with
lots of upper harmonic content for sparkle in the
sound, plus mass
and stiffness for sustain and projection
- Relatively thick and heavy sides laminated to increase stiffness and block
energy loss from
the top.
- Body slightly deeper than on most Hauser guitars to create a darker, fuller
sound
- Thin, light bridge of Brazilian rosewood (so the top moves quickly and
easily)
- High frets and oiled neck for playability
- The neck is elevated; the fingerboard is radiused. The neck features an
adjustable
trussrod
- The saddle and nut are of 10,000 year old mammoth tusk from Siberia
- Top fundamental resonance set at F#
- Varnish finish on the back and sides for durability
- French-polished shellac on the top for sound
- Soundport, armrest, and removable access panel at the tailblock
- Tuners: Graf LF-02
