Up for sale is a vintage 1966 Masaru Kohno classical guitar. This guitar is in mint condition with very few nail marks. It has Hokaido Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and side. The guitar has been well kept and taken care of since it was made and it sounds very beautiful with clarity and the vintage tone. This particular guitar has a special value because it was made just one year before Masaru Kohno won the gold medal of the Elizabeth's Concourse International Guitar Building Competition in Belgium in 1967. Nowadays it is very difficult to find a 1967 Masaru Kohno, almost impossible since his guitars made in 1967 were either kept by Kohno's students or by the guitar collectors. For the past 15 years, I haven't seen any 1967 Kohno guitar for sale, either in the domestic or international market.
